Along the 20 km. coastline it is possible to try the many fish specialities prepared on this part of the Adriatic Riviera. In particular the "Brodetto alla fanese" (a kind of fish soup). Typical products to be found in the area are - olive oil from Cartoceto, white and black truffles from Acqualagna, mushrooms from the Apennines, snails, lamb, game and fish from the Adriatic. Wines: Bianchello from the Metauro, Sangiovese from the hills around Pesaro, Vernacce from Pergola and Vino Santo from Fratte Rosa. |
