A SUMMER FOR LIFE

We’d like to inform the media that Since the 5 October 1994 another important goal has been reached on Saturday 3 July 1999: our National Board of Directors met in Rocca Priora (RM) and voted the constitution of 5 INTER-REGIONAL sections unanimously.

These sections are:

 From a structural and organising point of view this is the first great step fulfilled by this chairmanship and the operative centre in Fano after a very long and patient work.

The next important goal is the first Association AT General Meeting which will take place in Fano on Saturday and Sunday 25 and 26 September 1999.

At the same time also the Family Meeting will occur with the following items on the agenda: PHYSIOTHERAPY – SCHOOL – SPARE TIME – SOCIAL STRUCTURES – All these themes will be developed and mastered by experts in these topics.

This chairmanship and the operative centre in Fano must organise and realise these two days as well as they can.

Once more another important solidarity meeting takes place in Fano in order to carry on this project: everyone should respect the rights of lots of innocent creatures condemned by this rare genetic disease since they were born. To defeat this disease beautiful words or good intentions are not enough:

we need care and perseverance to reach goals as PREVENTION and THERAPY through scientific research, to assure a better future to people affected with this disease and to avoid the danger of giving birth to sick children.

That’s why I take the liberty of asking the media to encourage solidarity among citizens and promote initiatives for this "SUMMER FOR LIFE" in order to collect funds to cover lots of organising and research costs and to potentate our activity in Fano.

We will stimulate the availability of public and private structures too by sending a written application and hopefully with the help of the media waiting for a better reply than the one received in the past.

This will be a very important possibility for the city of Fano, head of INTER-REGIONAL sections n°3 for MARCHE – UMBRIA – ABRUZZO – MOLISE, to show availability and solidarity.
